1. Local-First Client Architecture

When you use MakeMyInvoice.net to draft an invoice, calculate sales tax, or generate a PDF, that processing happens locally inside your browser’s JavaScript engine. Your draft details and recent invoice history are saved directly into your device’s HTML5 localStorage.

Because this data remains on your physical device, clearing your browser cache or site storage will remove your locally saved drafts unless you choose to export your invoices via the JSON Backup feature.

2. No Sale or Monetization of Financial Data

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your client lists, billing rates, tax numbers, or transaction histories to advertisers, data brokers, or third-party organizations. Your business invoices are your private property.

3. Optional Cloud Sharing & Account Sync

If you optionally register an account to sync your invoices across devices or create a public share link (e.g. makemyinvoice.net/user/inv-001), only the specific invoice documents you choose to sync are securely stored on our servers with industry-standard encrypted credentials.

You retain complete control: you can disable, revoke, or permanently erase any public invoice share link or cloud record directly from your dashboard at any time.

4. Third-Party Fonts & Static Assets

To provide high-quality typography and printable vector styling across all devices, our service loads web fonts via Google Fonts and vector icons via standard web delivery. These third parties do not receive your invoice content.

5. Data Retention & Erasure

You can delete your local invoices with a single click using the "Clear All History" feature in your History Manager. If you have created a cloud account and wish to permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data, you can do so immediately from Account Settings or by contacting the developer.
